ABOUT ME
Marissa Rossi is a native of New Castle, Delaware where she discovered her love and enthusiasm to dance at a young age. She attended Point Park University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in jazz dance. Through the Conservatory Dance Company, Marissa has had the honor to perform works by Kiesha Lalama, Martha Graham, Jason McDole, Tyce Diorio, Mark Burrell, Kiki Lucas, and many more. Marissa has also performed with local Pittsburgh companies The Pillow Project, directed by Pearlann Porter and Firewall Dance Theater directed by Elisa Alaio Russo. She then went on to work with RWS and their company StepOne on board Holland America. While there, Marissa performed the shows Humanity, Musicology, Off the Charts, and In Tandem. She also was given the opportunity to workshop the show Off the Charts with choreographer Kellen Stencil. On top of performing she also performed dance captain roles and was the cover for other female dancer. After that, Marissa joined the show The Thorn for their Imagine 2023 tour as a dancer and actor.
Marissa strives to be constantly learning from others to work towards being a better dancer and more importantly human. When she isn’t dancing, Marissa cherishes spending time with friends and family. She practices being open and honest to everyone and never says no to an opportunity that comes her way. Ultimately, she aims positively change other people’s lives, in any way possible.
